I highly recommend the Rogue Fitness Combo Rack if you’re a powerlifter. It’s IPF competition-certified and can hold up to 1,000 lbs, making it perfect for powerlifting training.
This combo rack has drop-in spotter arms and a removable bench, so you can practice heavy bench presses or squats. There’s a diamond tread platform for your relative or friend to stand on if you need a spotter for heavy lifts, and I found this to be a really helpful addition that made this product stand out to me.
This product has quite a high price tag, and you’ll need to purchase weight plates separately, which will add to your total cost. However, it’s worth the investment if you’re searching for a top-of-the-line powerlifting-specific home gym.

The best all-in-one home gym winner is the REP Fitness FT-3000 Compact Trainer. I think it can give the best workout in the smallest space.
This all-in-one trainer offers a durable and versatile machine. If your trainer gets damaged or one of the components breaks, you’re covered with a lifetime warranty, and it’s nice to have extra security.
I love that it is built from thick steel, making it sturdy and durable. The double cable pulley system is smooth and seamless, reaching a maximum of 187 lbs. While I can’t get a full powerlifting workout from the gym, I can get a great upper-body workout. If you have more space, read on to some larger options below with more resistance.
There are convenient pegs for easy storage of your cable attachments and workout demos on the machine's backboard for you to follow.
The only downside I could find with this product was that it is difficult to set up. I’m not very handy, and it took 6 hours for me to get it right. However, I have heard of clients assembling it in 2 hours.
Overall if space is an issue, this is one of the best home gym machines you can buy.

The NordicTrack Fusion CST Studio has a wide variety of features. It has a 10-inch tablet where you can watch and follow exercise tutorials if you are unsure what you’re doing. The large mirror lets you check your form and technique, a helpful feature for beginner lifters.
NordicTrack is partnered with the Elite iFit Interactive Training app, a subscription-based app that costs $39 a month plus tax and gives you access to trainer-led workouts. I enjoyed using the app and found it helpful for workout inspiration, but I don’t think advanced lifters with a wealth of knowledge in the gym will need to use it. Plus, it’s quite an expensive monthly cost.
The machine has innovative Silent Magnetic Resistance that reduces noise production and ensures smooth and effective training, which is especially helpful when performing heavier lifts.
The drawback I found with this product was that there’s no power rack, squat rack, bench, or pull-up bar. I felt restricted by only having cables to work with, and I don’t feel it’s the best choice for powerlifters.

You’ll need a relatively large space in your home to set up this RitFit training machine, and it’s very heavy, so you might need a helping hand to assemble it. However, it’s ideal for heavy squats, bench press, and deadlifts.

I found the Rogue Fitness FT-5000 2.0 Functional Trainer durable and sturdy to use, even with heavier loads. It comprises a solid 11 gauge steel frame with high-quality attachments (two polymer D-handles). There are storage pegs for the attachments and a mountable diagram that displays 12 different exercises that you can do on the trainer. I used these examples to inspire me to switch up my workouts and try something different.
Although the assembly process was difficult and finicky (largely due to the lack of detailed instructions in the manual), you’re good to go once you’ve set the machine up in your home. I recommend getting a DIY-savvy friend to help you set up this machine in your home gym.
This FT-5000 2.0 model has dual weight stacks that reach an impressive 448 lbs in total, so you can practice various exercises using decently heavy weights. You could perform cable variations of squats and deadlifts, and you’ll be able to do seated cable flyes to emulate the bench press. The cable adjusts using a standard pin mechanism that clicks into place for extra safety.

Those of you with a higher budget should consider the Force USA G15 All-in-One Trainer. Although this product comes at a premium cost, its price tag is reflected in its quality, and I enjoyed using this machine a lot.
It’s a highly versatile trainer with 18 different attachments and 60 different adjustment points on the cable uprights that enable you to perform various upper-body and lower-body exercises. I love that it includes a power rack, functional trainer, smith machine, chin-up station, dip station, lat pulldown bar, leg curl attachment, and more, as this wide range of equipment enabled me to perform different exercises in every workout.
The weight stacks go up in 2.5 lbs increments, which enables you to progressively overload at a steady pace (a lot of all-in-one home gyms use increments of 10 lbs). The maximum user height is 7 feet too, so if you’re a tall lifter, you won’t struggle to use the machine.
The obvious drawback to this all-in-one trainer is its high price. It’s the most expensive option on this list and sits around the $6,000 mark (over double the Rogue Fitness Combo Rack). However, if you’ve got the budget, you won’t be disappointed with this Force USA G15 All-in-One Trainer.

It’s lightweight (191 lbs) and has a narrow footprint, so it would be great to squeeze into long spaces in your home, such as in a hallway or by the side of your bed.
The weight stack reaches a maximum of 210 lbs and increases in increments of 2.5 lbs for easy progressive overload. The sliding seat rail enables you to perform rows and find a comfortable position when performing static exercises. It has dual cables that you can place above your head or by the floor for bilateral and unilateral movements of all kinds. There is also an attachment for leg extensions and leg curls.
Although it includes a lat pull-down bar, a sliding seat rail, and various cable attachments, this machine isn’t suitable for all exercises. It doesn’t have a power rack or bench for heavy squats and bench presses.

I found the cable handles to be flimsy and low in quality, so I don’t expect them to last very long. However, cable handles are inexpensive so you can always purchase new handles if your original ones break.

It weighs just 166 lbs, so it’s easy to transport and set up. Despite its light weight, it can support 1,000 lbs, so you can practice heavy squats and deadlifts for maximum gains. If you also have an adjustable gym bench, you can perform bench press too.
You can get either a ‘skinny’ or ‘fat’ pull-up bar to attach to your squat rack for pull-ups, and you can loop resistance bands around the pull-up bar for pull downs and triceps exercises. I used the skinny bar, as I only have small hands, but the wider-diameter bar will be better for those with larger hands.
Although the pull-up bar offers extra versatility in my workouts by enabling me to perform upper-body exercises alongside squats, there were still limitations to what I could do with this squat rack. It doesn’t come with a bench, cable pulleys, weight stacks, or attachments, so it’s unsuitable if you want a complete all-in-one home gym.

You can perform over 1,000 different exercises with the Titan Fitness Functional Trainer, including strength, explosive, and cardio movements. It’s an all-in-one training machine with two 200-lb weight stacks attached to tall cable uprights with smooth fiberglass-reinforced pulleys. The dual-weight stacks were comparable to the REP Fitness Ares Builder and felt very similar to use.
You’ll receive a range of attachments as part of your purchase, including a short bar, long bar, ankle strap, dual stirrup handles, rope handles, single D-handles, and double D-handles. I tried using each of these attachments within my workouts, and I found them helpful to target each muscle in unique ways and find comfortable grips. The backboard has six hooks for easy storage of the attachments, so I could keep my home gym nice and tidy.
This all-in-one multifunctional trainer has a sleek black and silver design and a black powder coating for extra protection and durability. It has rubber feet to protect your floors too.
The downside of this product was the delivery service. Although I found the service okay, many online reviews complained about missing parts, damaged products, or slow delivery. If you have any issues with your delivery, contact Titan Fitness directly; they should be able to resolve any problems.

If choosing a home gym that’s lightweight and portable is your top priority, the Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym is a great choice. It weighs just 185 lbs and has a relatively small footprint compared to larger multifunctional home gyms.
It has an ergonomic design with an adjustable seat and shoulder harness, making it easy to find a comfortable position with every exercise. There isn’t a dual-weight stack with this trainer, which may limit the maximum weight that you can lift.
However, there is a 210-lb Power Rod, two adjustable cable pulleys, a pull-down bar, and a leg extension attachment to perform chest flyes, bicep curls, overhead presses, pull-downs, and leg extensions. There are seven free workouts created by fitness professionals that you can follow if you want some workout inspiration. Still, I decided not to follow these and did my usual workouts.

Despite being lightweight, the heavy-duty steel frame keeps the trainer stable and upright, so you don’t need to worry about losing balance during workouts. You can select a resistance between 5 lbs and 210 lbs to suit your needs and upgrade the resistance to 310 lbs.
Although there is a leg extension and leg curl attachment that you can use with this machine, I didn’t find it great for lower-body workouts. You can’t perform squats or deadlifts using the product, just like you can’t with the Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym, so you’d need additional equipment for powerlifting practice. It’s much better suited to upper body-focused workouts, with a pulley system, ab training strap, comfortable seat, and lat pull-down bar.

However, if you’ve got space in your home for a larger trainer, I highly recommend the X20 Pro. It has a solid, sturdy power rack, two 289-lb weight stacks, and heavy-duty roller pulleys with 34 adjustment points.
You’ll receive a total of 17 different cable attachments with your purchase, including a landmine, cable handles, and a dip bar. It also comes with two chin-up bars (straight and multi-grip), so you won’t struggle to find a comfortable grip, whether using an overhand, underhand, narrow, or wide grip. You can upgrade your X20 Pro to include three extra workout stations, our functional attachments, four storage shelves, and a TV mount.
The pin and plate-loaded unit enables you to perform over 400 different exercises from the comfort of your home, and the frame has flip-down safety bars for extra protection during heavy lifts.

As with the Bowflex Xceed Home Gym and the Bowflex Xtreme 2 SE Home Gym, you won’t be able to do squats, deadlifts, or bench presses using this functional home gym. You’d need extra equipment for these exercises, which would cost you more money and space.
There’s a media rack that you can use to stream your favorite programs or listen to music while you work out. You can follow one of the seven trainer-led exercise routines with this machine if you want some workout inspiration.
