Learn Squat Technique From World-Class Coaches

SQUAT_TECHNIQUE

Squatting is a compound exercise that works multiple muscle groups, including the glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, and core.

Here are some quick steps to perform a squat:

1. Begin by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your toes pointed slightly outward.
2. Engage your core muscles and keep your back straight as you begin to lower your body.
3. Push your hips back and bend your knees as if you were sitting back into a chair.
4. Keep your weight on your heels and avoid extending your knees over your toes.
5. Lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the ground or as low as you can comfortably go.
6. Push through your heels to stand back up, squeezing your glutes at the top.

Following these techniques can improve your squat form to get the most out of this exercise.

But you could do much more if you want to perfect your squat technique.

Read through our comprehensive articles, where you’ll learn squat variations, common questions, and mistakes to avoid.
